Is this new? I just got emails and letters about Sallie Mae being the new contractor for my student loans. I thought this was outlawed so that all direct student loans now come from and are totally administered by the government. When I run Steam online, it seems to crash every few hours. Let's just say that a few weeks ago I found myself in a very deep meditative state. I felt myself slowly being separated from the room I was in. It was as if I had been a two-dimensional being all my life, and suddenly I had stepped off the screen into a more three-dimensional space. Maybe it would be better described as a fourth dimension? I don't know. The objects in the room were all the same, yet different. The way in which I became separated was very interesting to me. The room seemed to slightly pixelate in the process, as if it had not been "real" all along, as if it had been programed. As I was sinking deeper and deeper into the dark caverns of my consciousness, I found myself in an unexpected place. Although I could still see the room around me, I was looking at it through what I would describe as a spherical wall of screens. To help you imagine it, think of the way a bee or a fly might see the world through it's hundreds of eyes.I was standing (though not physically) in a dark center of space surrounded by these "screens", and I saw the room. I got the sense that this was the "control center" of my mind. Time had completely stopped. Time was irrelevant. A minute or an hour could have passed, and I would not be able to tell you which was true. I was in the midst of eternity. I felt something else was with me. It wasn't physical, but I could feel it's presence close to me. I want to say that it was separate from me, but I suddenly realized that I was it, and it it was me. Second FHA loan Help PLEASE?

IF I were to purchase a home with a cosigner who later became a tenant, their name was removed from the deed (quitclaim) but the mortgage was never refinanced. Over the 2 year time frame their credit score dropped dramatically (phones, credit cards,etc.). Now I want to move (my family has gotten bigger) but there is no way to get the loan refinanced (her credit score is too low) and she has nowhere to go so my home is kind of crowded. She says she will take over the loan (we plan to have legal doc. drawn up saying so) but the lender wants to consider this as my debt. I can't live anywhere rent free so of course she has not always covered the entire mortgage payment, but she has made all the payments electronically. We share a bank acct also that we make the payments out of. Is there any way to prove that she is making the payments (without having cancelled checks) and be able to qualify for a second fha loan. I meet the income, credit, everything, but this mortgage is whats holding me back.

So I understand if say a stock on the date before the ex-date is at $10 with a $1 dividend. Then the next day the adjustment is made and the stock drops to $9. Now the short seller owes the lender the amount of the dividend (in this example $1) but shouldn't that be negated by the company owing 'someone' the dividend anyway. The company must still have to pay the dividend declared so why does the short seller loose the money?

You may have to provide a lot of extra paperwork but as long as your debts don't push you too much deeper I think you'd qualify for something. I got a mortgage at 20yo in Jan 2008 and in April 2010, i moved in with my partner and began renting out my property through an agency. Dealing with death of a grandparent?

They always say think of the birth rather than the death. My aunt die of cancer. She suffered all the way to the end, they say she didn't suffer, but every time they move her she sounded like she was in pain. I was there, it was a close aunt, but for some reason I didn't cry or anything, I don't know why? well think of it as at least she not suffering or die young, keep busy, have time to cry at night time go to the movies, get some exercise, visit friends, mainly keep busy.

I lost my house to a foreclosure, the bank owns it. My old tenants still live in it. The utilities are all under my name I have been continuing to pay for it. This is in CA. How long can title company hold refinance funds?

I refinanced my house with a new lender on 5/17. The new lender funded on 5/23 and old lender expected funds on 5/24 (that was what the payoff figure was based on). Title company didn't bother sending the funds to the old lender until another week had passed, incurring additional interest charges. And when they sent the funds, they only send the amount based on the 5/24 payoff - which was no longer sufficient to payoff the loan and so the previous lender couldn't accept the payoff check. Is there some industry and/or federal guideline or rule about how long a title company can hold onto the funds AFTER the funding date? I've never had this happen before. As a result of the title companie's action (or lack thereof) - my prior lender didn't receive their money for more than two weeks after closing. I also caught the title company in an outright lie - they claimed to have overnighted the funds to my lender on 5/24 (still a day late) but the fedex showed they didn't arrange for pickup until after 6 pm on 5/27.

At first it's terrifying, but once you get in it you tend to get used to it. Then again, I don't have the same problems you have so if I was in your shoes I might be hesitant to go into debt just like you are. Have you considered a cheap, fast, training program with minimal investment of time and resources? I just got my EKG certificate so I can work as an EKG technician. Only one semester, one hour a week. You might consider a brief program like that and with a credential there would be less pressure at an interview because you have a marketable skill. Also, I would suggest you try using your disadvantages to your advantage. Meaning, there are government programs you can apply for being challenged and they can help you find a training program and job that is right for you. If they like your test scores and application, they may even provide training costs. 'The Department of Rehabilitation' is a good source. Another benefit to having a disability, is nature's way of making up for short comings with other strengths. While your speaking and communication lack, your writing is excellent. I would recommend you ASUS G73SW-A1 laptop has performed well since I got it. I did have a slight problem with the Asus update utility but other than that I absolutely love it. I got a mortgage at 20yo in Jan 2008 and in April 2010, i moved in with my partner and began renting out my property through an agency. Only now has it come to my attention that i should have informed my mortgage lender of the change and altered my mortgage to a 'buy to let mortgage'. I decided to give them a call tonight and first of all query as to what the difference in payments etc would be. Bank accepted short sale (after almost 1 year), Attorney raising negotiation fee.?

This may get a little confusing... I have a signed agreement with an attorney that clearly states the attorney fee "will be paid from the HUD 1 Settlement statement upon closing". The fee on the Hud 1 is $650, the attorney originally asked for almost $3k. The bank accepted the short sale with the $650 fee on the Hud 1 and I received an amendment to the original agreement with the attorney which now states "the seller is obligated to pay a flat fee of $3k", "purchaser agrees to pay difference between engagement letter amounts ($650) and the amount lender is authorizing." which is $650. This almost seems like they are trying to get both buyer and seller to pay. Can the attorney now ask me to pay since they did not do their job properly and negotiate their own fee high enough? What happens if I don't sign, can I still follow through with agreement? Keep in mind I noted it's almost been one year. I now have until 7/25/2011 to close and the agreement was originally signed on 6/30/2010 expires after 1 year!

Rash from vitamin E ointment?

I got a tattoo on my shoulder a week ago, and as per the instruction, I have been putting on Webber's Vitamin E ointment around 3 times a day. Value of the house is $300,000 (used chase.com for comparables - they are the most reliable I heard). I am underwater on my house by $140,000. I have $150,000 in liens against my house. I would like to stay in my house for as long as possible, until I find myself a job, and then I should be able to re-negotiate with my mortgage company. How likely is this house going to be sold at auction?

What do you do if a bear charges you!?

Hi, So my family and I are going to our vacation home in Wisconsin like we always do every summer. Lately, my grandparents have seen a few bears around not at the house but around the roads and in the bushes. My mom and I were discussing what we would do if a bear comes at us? Should we stand our ground? Even though a bear can out run us, should we run? Should we jump of the pier and swim? Do we crouch in a ball? I want to know what you should do if it charges you or what you should do if its just coming out of the woods and is just looking at you. Do you back away slowly so you don't look like a threat? The back yard is probably like a little more than half a foot ball field long ways and woods surround it and we have a pier and 2 boats. What should we do? Any facts or articles on bears or tips on how to get away from one would be helpful! We're leaving tomorrow so I need this question to be answered kinda quick! Thanks in advance!
