The guy I like knows I like him, but how do I know if he likes me back?

ohhh. unfortunately this happened to me almost exactly last year, and i told a guy over text i liked him and he told me it wasnt weird and stuff, but the friendship kinda faded. what you should probably do is start flirting with other guys while he's around, but stay friends with him. dont talk about how he's cute or how you like him or anything. theres a chance that if you follow this advice he might ask (over text or something) 'do you like me anymore?' or something along those lines. i wouldsuggest saying something like 'well im not sure, youre a great person but i'm trying to focus on school/sports/friends (whatever you want) right now, but im so glad im ur friend(:' so yeah, get to know him a little better both in person and over text. maybe when you guys get to becoming better friends then he might like you (cause when he does, it's probably gonna be a lot more obvious.) good luck! <3
